Belgrade, 30.11.2020 – As a company dedicated to social responsibility and focused on innovation, Galenika supported the Museum of Contemporary Arts in Belgrade in the realization of the European premiere of the world exhibition “Love is Love: Wedding Bliss for All a la Jean Paul Gaultier”. In this way, Galenika, in these challenging times, helped responsible and safe consumption of cultural content for citizens, which enabled the cultural scene in Serbia to be one step closer to the world trends.
The Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgrade, following the example of numerous world museums, last Saturday, with the opening of Jean Paul Gaultier’s exhibition “Love is Love: Wedding Bliss for All”, opened its doors to high fashion, which it presents as contemporary art. This is the European premiere of the exhibition, which presents 38 high fashion wedding dresses, created in the period from 1990 to 2000, which was created as the finale of the world exhibition “Jean Paul Gaultier’s Fashion World: From Sidewalk to Catwalk”. A special exclusivity of the Belgrade exhibition is the premiere of as many as eight Gaultier’s wedding dresses that were not part of the exhibition before.
The online-opening is available on the LINK, where, among the other, the host of the exhibition expressed special gratitude to our company.
Galenika, as a kind of “love brand” in Serbia, as stated by Milorad Ilić, Executive Director for Investment Projects and International Business Development of Galenika, was very pleased to support the project: “This is a unique, international cultural event and the European premiere of a significant project. This is really great and important news at any time, and especially during a pandemic, when we all need lasting values, positive content and hope. Galenika has been a synonym for quality and trust for 75 years. Among other things, it is a consequence of our commitment to the market. In addition to the tradition it nurtures, Galenika is dedicated to the future and innovation, and this exhibition is a great example of an innovative approach to traditional values such as love. I especially want to emphasize the importance of responsible and safe consumption of cultural content provided by the Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgrade, with great care and dedication, “said Ilić.
We live in a time when love, responsibility and support are extremely important. Galenika is a company committed to social responsibility, which is also manifested through the provision of support for projects of national importance, especially in moments when support is most needed. And responsible and safe consumption of culture, especially in the times in which we currently live, is a significant example of commitment to the market.
